Easy to make cheese spread.
A while back my dad started writing down his recipes. The one I’m making today is a Beer Cheese Spread. The base recipe is very basic and super easy to make.
My family has a tradition of altering recipes. My version of this cheese dip is still just as easy to make. All I have done is tweaked the ingredients. This recipe is easy to alter and make your own just remember to use about 16 ounces of cheese and enough beer to create a smooth texture. Try experimenting with different cheese and beer combinations. Add a jalapeno or crushed nuts to the mix.
7 oz Blarney Castle (Irish Gouda) 7 oz Dubliner (Irish Cheddar) 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder 1/4 tsp Ground Mustard 1/4 tsp Onion Salt 1/4 tsp Dried Pepper 1 tsp Dijon Mustard 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 1/4 tsp Liquid Smoke 1/4 tsp Tabasco
Directions 1. Cube cheese and add to food processor. Pulse until it’s all chopped up. 2. Add everything else except the beer. Pulse until it’s all mixed. 3. Add beer slowly and mix until smooth. 4. Throw it in the fridge for around an hour. 5. Enjoy.
